Fox Classic Car Collection

The historic Queen’s Warehouse holding the Fox Classic Car Collection in Melbourne’s Docklands precinct offers a very special venue for corporate events. Nowhere else in Australia could your guests mingle and dine with such an impressive and valuable collection of prestige vehicles worth $15M.

It is a heritage listed building and is therefore different to a conventional function room. It provides an opportunity to create quite a distinct atmosphere. An added bonus is the availability of some parking and the service of public transport.

Venue size and amenities
Our function area is on the first floor. However, dependent on the type of function being conducted, other areas can be used. When hiring the venue it is your event only that occupies the venue and the whole venue is accessible for your guests.

For sit down dinners, the capacity numbers can vary due to the changing configuration of the vehicle display. Generally 10x tables of 10x can be readily accommodated at times up to 120 for sit down. For cocktail parties numbers between 180 to 320 people can be accommodated.

Audio visual, lighting and other types of infrastructure as well as catering is not supplied and is an added cost to be borne directly by the organization conducting the event. We will liaise with you to arrange access to the venue for the set up and dismantle process to occur. Fox Classic Car Collection requires you visit our venue along with your event organizer and additional infrastructure personnel to assess what is required and to ensure your event runs smoothly.

Our goods lift is currently not operational. All infrastructure to the first floor (function area) is to be brought in manually via the external stairs.

Disability access is to the ground floor only.

Catering
The venue does not have a preferred caterer. Caterers will be required to bring in their own trestles, gas ovens and any other requirements. The catering area is on the ground floor as no cooking is permitted on the first floor where the service will be delivered.

To arrange a venue inspection, please contact us on 03 9620 4085. We can respond to any other initial inquiries you might have. We will only hire the venue once we have an understanding of the type of event you plan to conduct and you have visited to look at the venue and discuss your plans. Please note, we hire the venue for corporate events only.
